Christmas is usually dubbed “the happiest time of the year”, and for good reason. There seems to be a great spirit of camaraderie and friendship during this season. Around the house, it’s nice to decorate and be festive during this time.
This can be a very easy way to make your yard and property look appropriate for the season. If you live in a place that is cold and have snow, take a small bit of snow in your hand and pack it into a ball. If there is a decent amount of moisture in the snow, you can take the ball and put it on the ground and roll it along, gaining more and more snow and creating a bigger and bigger “ball”. Once you get a good sized ball, start another one, but make is smaller. Once you’re done, lift it up on the other ball. Do this a third time with a small ball and then draw a face on it and you’re done! You can use buttons, a scarf, a carrot for a nose, and sticks for the arms. This is a great activity for the kids and grownups alike. This is a great DIY outdoor christmas decoration.
DIY Candy Canes
As the video states, you can take chicken wire and form a small tube with it. You’ll need to create the curved top in order to make it look like a legit candy cane. Once you get it looking correct, stand it up on your porch and twindle red christmas lights around the column to give it some flair. Watch the video for more ideas!
